FAQ
How much will I be paid?
A transparent percentage of the live LBMA spot price, based on the weight and purity of your gold. You can estimate it from the per-gram rates in the table above, and you'll always see the exact offer before accepting.
How can I receive my money?
By Faster Payments straight to your bank account, usually within a minute of accepting your offer.
Is posting gold and precious metals safe?
Yes. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery, tracked, signed for and insured to £750, and you keep proof of posting. For higher values we split items across separate insured bags.
My jewellery isn't hallmarked, does that matter?
No. Our XRF assay measures the actual gold content, so unmarked items are valued just as accurately.
What if I don't accept the offer?
There's no obligation. If you decline, we return your gold to you fully insured. Return postage is free for parcels of 10g or more of precious metal, with a £15 admin fee under 10g.
What can I send?
Gold jewellery, scrap, coins, bullion, watches and dental gold, plus platinum and palladium. We also accept silver, subject to a 10g precious-metal threshold and a £15 admin fee.
