Selling silver: please read first
We do buy silver but it needs to be Sterling (at least 92.5% pure) and it trades at a much lower price than gold (usually around £1 per gram). You would also need to pay for its return if we can't agree a deal (though this is rare) unless your parcel also contains 10g of precious metal (Gold, Platinum or Palladium).
Selling silver: what to expect
We accept sterling silver, marked 925, and fine silver, marked 999, whether it is jewellery, coins or other items. Silver is valued on the live LBMA silver price by weight and purity, with each piece assayed by XRF to confirm what it is.
It is worth being realistic: silver is worth far less per gram than gold, so small quantities may add up to a modest amount. We will accept and pay for smaller parcels, but where the precious metal is under 10g a £15 admin fee applies if you decide to have items returned rather than accept the offer.

FAQ
What silver do you accept?
Sterling silver (925) and pure silver. Our XRF assay confirms the purity of each item.
What is the 10g threshold?
Free insured return of your items only applies when the parcel contains at least 10g of precious metal (Gold, Platinum and Palladium). Below that, return postage isn't covered.
Is there a fee for selling silver?
No, but in the unlikely event we cannot agree a deal, a £15 administration fee applies to return parcels with less than 10g of precious metal (Gold, Platinum and Palladium).
Is it worth selling small amounts of silver?
If there is no sentimental value and you are happy to sell, then small amounts can be worth it, but they do not attract high prices like small amounts of gold.
